Field force support
A long-standing Pharmisis customer expanded
its field force by 52% in one year. Our
management skills generated both financial
and operational efficiency, with a focus
on pull ordering rather than push distribution
we maintained the total budget at the original
level. Within a year we achieved a 20% reduction
in the total stock held in the warehouse,
along with a 29% decrease in despatch volume.
Improving field force effectiveness
A customer new to Pharmisis benefited
from our proven approach to field force
support. Previously our client averaged
over 4 boxes per representative order due
to a push-based strategy. We introduced
a pull-based system and using our web-based
ordering application reduced the number
of boxes per order to 2.6 within the first
6 months. This approach also lowered the
total pallet stock by 30% within the same
period. Our business intelligence reporting
tools provided valuable information focusing
on critical key performance indicators within
the supply chain. This highlighted poor
supplier performance and has led to a refined
and more effective supplier network.
Project management
A client experienced difficulties with
managing promotional materials and providing
support for product launches and seasonal
activity. Our project management skills
achieved 100% accurate delivery of new materials
for a product launch and our financial forecasting
enabled our client to allocate their promotional
budget with confidence. Our strong partnership
saw helpdesk fulfilment queries fall from
300 in 2003 to just 1 in 2004.
